SINGLE SINK. SHAKE CAN WELL - Make sure that sink stopper is open. Turn can upside down with power cap covering the drain. Fill sink with enough water to fully submerge power cap (approximately 4"). Place a damp cloth over the overflow and HOLD FIRMLY in place as to prevent pressure from escaping. Firmly press down on the can using the palm of hand for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
DOUBLE SINK. SHAKE CAN WELL - Place stopper in the SECOND sink. Make sure that the stopper is open in the first sink. Turn can upside down with Power Cap covering the FIRST drain. With wide drain openings, place Universal Adapter over the Power Cap, making sure that the adapter is in a "V" position. Cover/block dishwasher overflow with a damp cloth or other material. Fill sink with enough water to fully submerge Power Cap (approximately 4"). Hold stopper firmly in second sink, as to prevent pressure from escaping. Firmly press down on can using the palm of hand for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
BATHTUB. SHAKE CAN WELL - Make sure that tub stopper is open. Turn can upside down with Power Cap covering the drain (or, if necessary, place Universal Adapter in the upside down "V" position into the Power Cap). Fill tub with enough water to fully submerge Power Cap (approximately 4"). Place a damp cloth over the overflow and HOLD FIRMLY in place as to prevent pressure from escaping. Firmly press down on can using palm of hand for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.
TOILETS. SHAKE CAN WELL - Place Universal Adapter over Power Cap, making sure that adapter is at a "V" position. Place Extension Handle on the END of the can. Insert the "V" end of the adapter inside the opening of the toilet, making sure entire Power Cap is submerged in water. Firmly press down on handle for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
GARBAGE DISPOSALS. SHAKE CAN WELL - Make sure that disposal sink stopper is open. Turn can upside down with Power Cap covering the disposal drain. With wide drain openings, place Universal Adapter over the Power Cap, making sure that the adapter is in a "V" position. Cover/block dishwasher overflow with a damp cloth cloth or other material. Fill sink with enough water to fully submerge Power Cap (approximately 4"). Firmly press down on can using palm of hand for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
FLOOR DRAINS WITH REMOVABLE GRATES - SHAKE CAN WELL - Place Universal Adapter into Power Cap, making sure that the adapter is at a "V" position. Place adapter INSIDE the opening of the drain, making sure Power Cap is fully submerged in water. Firmly press on handle for ONE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
FLOOR DRAINS WITH NON-REMOVABLE GRATES - SHAKE CAN WELL - Place Universal Adapter into Power Cap, making sure that the adapter is at an upside down "V" position. Place adapter over the opening of the drain, making sure entire Power Cap is submerged in water. Firmly press on handle for ONCE SECOND and release. (Some obstructions may require additional application.)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: IMPORTANT: Please read caution on packaging prior to any use. Do not use in clogged drains where acid or lye drain openers may still be present. Splashback of acid or lye can burn the skin and eyes.
NOTE: Remember to block all overflows. If the drain is not cleared after third application. Obstruction requires the attention of a plumber.
